The work focuses on the work of left and right brain hemispheres, taking into account the latest scientific research in this field. It is concerning with ideas of the “creative” and “logical” parts of the brain and investigate whether our assumptions are scientifically true.
The latest scientific research has shown that everyone uses both sides of the brain. People use networks in their brains and the use of certain networks in the brain is task-dependent. Therefore if somebody is more artistic, then they would more likely use networks within the right side of the brain. So depending on what networks people use, they use one side of the brain more than the other. The exemption can be the people who have a split brain syndrome where both brain hemispheres are disconnected from each other.
The work to date is based on the representation of scientific data that explores the work of left and right brain hemispheres. It also touches some other important elements that play a role in creating our tendency to use certain networks in our brain more than others.
The work aims to portray a visual representation of scientific data. It also seeks to create a better understanding of how our brain works.
